It was a great opportunity for the volunteers to interact with a diverse group of families while assisting the neighbourhood. (World Vision BarBQ)

The event at Bloorview Kids Rehab was such a resounding success, Natalie has already asked if we would be interested in participating in another Build ' a Bear (or bunny) workshop, and/or any other events! We actually ran out of bunnies with an hour left in the activity - probably the only disappointment-type feedback I received from my team (they wished we had many more!). We had such a great, enthusiastic group, where every volunteer jumped in where needed without asking. The kids had huge smiles on their faces and all enjoyed creating their bunny, wishing on it's heart and then creating a t-shirt for it to wear. We helped them make the bunnies, name their bunnies, create their bunny's shirt and paint their faces! The event was fun and exciting for the kids, while extremely enlightening and rewarding for us, the TELUS volunteers. I hope TELUS can participate in this event again in the future - many members of my team indicated they would love to do this again and soon! (Bloorview Kids Rehab)

Everyone had a great time at the event and enjoyed giving back to the community for a great cause.

The YMCA's expectation was that we would move about 80 trees. In true TELUS spirit we worked diligently and surpassed this number - in the end we moved a whopping 188 trees. (I will add: the YMCA had another organization volunteer their time earlier in the week and they moved fewer trees with more people). Way to go TEAM TELUS!!! (YMCA Cedar Glen)

The day went really well and we were able to clear all the gardens of weeds and over growth. We were also able to assist with some other tasks inside of the house as well. I have attached some photos taken the day of the event. I also want to mention that our team was very determined to assist were ever possible. We all agreed that it was a good day for a great cause. I personally would like to commend this team and thank them all for their hard work. (Darling Home for Kids)

A truly inspiring event to see so many people out and contributing to the community... Thanks again and I look forward to an even better event in 2008! (YMCA North York)

Weve been working with community, particularly schools and community groups and businesses for more than ten years. Weve restored over a hundred hectares, which is one square kilometer of the Rouge Park, with planting of over a quarter of a million trees and wildflowers. And, were really happy that TELUS is out here today showing their community spirit.
