What do you do in your spare time?
Yoga, anything active and outdoors (hiking, snowboarding), I write, direct and produce a no-budget/goofy ‘reality’ show and I am an amateur DJ (in my apartment… my neighbours love me!)

What song would serve as an anthem for your life?
Miss Independent by Kelly Clarkson

What television show would you want to appear on? Why?
Host of either MTV Canada or ET Canada so that I can mix my love for being quirky in front of the camera with my guilty pleasure of pop culture!

What is your special talent?
Singing karaoke… and I can stand on my head for a long time.

If you could be a TELUS spokes critter, which one would you be? Why?
The monkey with the mohawk because he is goofy and makes people laugh - which describes me pretty well.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Punky Brewster

What have you done that no one would guess you'd done, to look at you?
Marched in a marching band.

What was the nicest act of human kindness you've performed or benefited from?
I routinely take leftover food, clothes and/or bottles to the lane behind my apartment to give to the homeless people that seek shelter there.

What television show would you want to appear on?
I’d like to be a doctor on Young and the Restless so my Grandma could watch me with all her friends sipping tea, and she could annoy them with how proud she was.

If you could be a TELUS spokes critter, which one would you be? Why?
The orange seahorse. He is the fun-loving, young critter that people enjoy talking to - don’t you think?

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A Snowman. I am from North Alberta and snowmen can make a decent wage there and get their summers off!

What have you done that no one would guess you'd done, to look at you?
I was the Easter Bunny at the local mall posing for pictures with kids on my lap all day and hopping from store to store handing out chocolate eggs.

What was the nicest act of human kindness you've performed or benefited from?
I anonymously did yard work for an elderly neighbour who was recently widowed.

What is the fanciest party you've ever been to?
Opening of the Citadel theatre in Edmonton with guest speaker King Ralph Klein. There was a 10-foot tall chocolate fountain and waiters serving $75 a glass champagne. I felt distinguished and important – even though I snuck in!

No, a cactus is enough for me at this point.

The gecko, because I adapt easily to all situations. Plus, who doesn’t love a coat that matches everything.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A teacher or an actress.

What have you done that no one would guess you'd done, to look at you?
I moved to Cancun on a whim with a friend for three months and I had a great tan to show for it!

What was the nicest act of human kindness you've performed or benefited from?
Volunteered training athletes for the Special Olympics.

Fanciest party you've ever been to?
The American Idol after-party at Sky Bar in the Mondrian hotel in Los Angeles. I even have a picture with Simon Cowell to prove it!

Most fun you've had in a single day?
When I was eleven years old my dad took me to Toronto to a Blue Jays game.

I wanted to be a doctor, teacher, journalist, and lawyer.

What have you done that no one would guess you'd done, to look at you?
I spent five days in a glass box with five guys with nothing but the clothes on my back for a local radio station contest. I didn’t win but it does make for a great story!

Most fun you've had in a single day?
Surprising my wife with a birthday trip to Las Vegas. She had no idea where we were going until we were on the plane. That day turned into three fun days with no sleep.

I hiked 750 km from St-Jean-Pied de Port, France to Santiago da Compostela, Spain on the old Camino that thousands of pilgrims have walked since the Middle Ages.

What do you do in your spare time?
Play with my son, walk with my dog along the beach, read, go to the gym, archery, billiards and sculpting.

The Amazing Race. I love teamwork and a good challenge and traveling the world is a dream for me.

I can carve and sculpt shapes out of carrots with my teeth.

The elephant. They are emotional, intelligent, strong and proud creatures.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A veterinarian.

What have you done that no one would guess you'd done, to look at you?
I have gone skydiving, raised and rehabilitated many species of wildlife and am pretty good with a pool cue.

Most fun you've had in a single day?
My son and I went to Wonderland and he reminded me how much fun being a kid can be. We raced each other down waterslides and played a great game of whack-a-mole!

Flight attendant.

What is the fanciest party you've ever been to?
President’s Club 1995 in Switzerland. We had a special dinner with local foods and musical entertainment.

My 40th birthday party!
